Rise and shine, friends. The sheets from yesterday are graded and the ink is dry.Three winners, three losers on the day, and the bankroll sits at $10,067, up $67. Not a bad Saturday when you consider what happened on the hockey side.
The football did the heavy lifting. Air Force took care of UNLV 41-31 at -115, and that three-unit ticket cashed clean. Cincinnati and West Virginia combined for 87 points against a 63.5 total, so the Over at -112 had breathing room the whole way. The one miss on the gridiron was the Owls at +105. Army ran it down their throats, 56-24, and that one was over early.
Hockey was a rough night. The Blues never found their legs in Nashville and fell 5-2, taking the three-unit play with them. The Rangers got goose-egged in Columbus, 1-0, and you can't win a money line when you can't beat the goalie once.
Tampa Bay brought the bats at Cleveland, 7-3, and the Over at 6.5 had the thing wrapped up long before the late innings.
The season ledger reads 4-4, a hair above water at +0.67 units. The two-unit tickets are carrying the book at 2-1 for +1.64. The threes and ones are the ones I'd like back.
