The New England Patriots have been at the center of nearly every NFL discussion this offseason. Fans were more than happy to see a different team come under fire after New York Giants starting quarterback Jaxson Dart introduced President Trump ahead of a speech in New York on Friday night.

Dart himself began to become the subject of criticism, and his teammate, former No. 3 overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft Abdul Carter, only made matters worse when he took to social media to publicly criticize his team's starting quarterback.

"Thought this (expletive) was AI, what we doing man," the edge rusher said in a post that received 40 million views.

As far as inter-squad drama goes, this is about as messy as it gets.

Veteran beat reporter and Senior NFL Writer for the Boston Globe, Ben Volin, provided his analysis on the situation in New York unfolding, saying, "Giants starting QB just divided his locker room."

Well, Volin's X post made it back to the Giants locker room. Jermaine Eluemunor, a 31-year-old offensive tackle who has been with the Giants since 2024, told Volin that he's better off focusing on the Patriots in a direct reply.

The reply feels like fair play from Eluemunor, who spent two seasons playing for New England under former head coach Bill Belichick.
