The Milwaukee Brewers (30-18) look to continue their regular-season dominance of the Los Angeles Dodgers (31-20) on Saturday night when the teams meet in the second game of a three-game weekend series at American Family Field in Milwaukee.

Logan Henderson struck out seven in five scoreless innings and combined with three relievers on a three-hitter as Milwaukee won the series opener 5-1 on Friday night. The Brewers struck for four runs in the top of the first inning, three coming on William Contreras’ home run to left field. Milwaukee has won 12 of its last 14 games overall and has run its winning streak against Los Angeles to nine games in the regular season. The Dodgers swept the Brewers in last fall’s National League Championship Series.

The Dodgers avoided a shutout when Shohei Ohtani drove in a run with a sacrifice fly in the seventh. Los Angeles won’t have third baseman Max Muncy for the rest of the series after he was hit on the right wrist by a pitch in the eighth inning. X-rays were negative, but the Dodgers plan to hold Muncy out for at least a couple of days. Starter Justin Wrobleski allowed hits to six of the first seven batters he faced but settled down to work five innings in the loss.
Left-hander Robert Gasser makes his second start of the season on Saturday for the Brewers. He worked four innings, allowing three runs, two earned, on three hits on Sunday against the Minnesota Twins in his season debut. Right-hander Roki Sasaki (2-3) takes the ball for Los Angeles, coming off a win over the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday in which he struck out eight and allowed one run in seven innings. This year, Sasaki has a 5.09 ERA and 1.451 WHIP in eight starts and 40.2 innings.
