Arsenal moved level on points with Premier League leaders Manchester City after defeating Everton 2-0 at Emirates Stadium.
Centre-back Konsa opened the scoring in the 7th minute, scrambling home from a corner for his first goal since arriving from Aston Villa in the summer. Fellow defender Gabriel doubled the lead in the 68th minute with a header, unmarked at the back post. The strike came on Gabriel's 200th Premier League appearance, with White registering an assist on his 200th Arsenal appearance.
Manager Arteta made five changes from Wednesday's 2-2 Champions League draw at Bayern Munich, with Gyökeres making his first league start of the campaign. Saka was absent due to a quad issue from the Munich match. Gabriel received treatment from the physio after a problem early in the second period but returned to the pitch.
The win gave Arsenal seven victories from eight league matches this term and 11 from 13 across all competitions, extending their home winning streak to nine. Everton fell to a second straight loss following last weekend's 2-0 home defeat to Chelsea, having prevailed only once in their prior 21 trips to the Emirates.
