Alabama wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams underwent arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a meniscus injury, according to ESPN's Katie George.
Coleman-Williams had already been ruled out for Saturday's game at Tennessee. He had been playing through the knee injury before suffering a head injury against Georgia last week.
The timeline for his return remains unclear. Sources told ESPN that Coleman-Williams is considered week-to-week. Alabama hosts Texas A&M next Saturday, then has a bye week before traveling to LSU on November 7.
The former freshman All-American leads the Crimson Tide in receptions with 23 and receiving yards with 415.
Mickey's Angle: Losing your leading receiver against Tennessee stings, and the week-to-week status makes this a situation to monitor closely. Alabama's depth at receiver is usually solid, but Coleman-Williams was producing at an elite level. Check practice reports before the Texas A&M game for any sign of progress.
