Pittsburgh Penguins center Crosby sits five points shy of surpassing Marcel Dionne for sixth place on the NHL's all-time scoring list. Crosby has accumulated 1,767 career points across season 22 and, at 39, could also overtake Ron Francis (1,798) for fifth place later this year.

The Penguins are scheduled for two games this week, offering Crosby multiple chances to pass Dionne.

Meanwhile, Penguins defenseman Karlsson trails Chris Chelios by one point for career scoring among blue-liners. Passing Chelios would put Karlsson top 10 all-time scoring among defensemen.

The league will observe "Hockey Halloween" with 10 games Saturday, the most on Halloween in 11 years. The Bruins host the Blackhawks Saturday 1:00 p.m. ET. The Flames visit the Avalanche: only late game Saturday.
