The Anaheim Ducks announced Wednesday they have signed goaltender Laurent Brossoit to a one-year contract and forward Judd Caulfield to a two-year, two-way deal.
According to PuckPedia, Brossoit’s deal is worth $1.1 million. He went 12-8-1 with a .901 save percentage (SV%) and 2.97 goals against average (GAA) in 22 appearances in the AHL last season. He was acquired by the San Jose Sharks in a trade with a Chicago Blackhawks last January, splitting his 2025-26 campaign with the Rockford IceHogs and San Jose Barracuda.
Brossoit signed a two-year, $6.6 million contract with the Blackhawks in July 2024, but he would undergo meniscus surgery soon after and missed the entire 2024-25 campaign. In 12 NHL seasons, he’s posted a 64-47-13 record with a .910 SV% and 2.66 GAA in 141 career games with the Sharks, Blackhawks, Winnipeg Jets, Vegas Golden Knights and Edmonton Oilers.
He earned a Stanley Cup ring with the Golden Knights in 2023.

As for Caulfield, 25, PuckPedia is reporting that in year one of his two-year deal, he will make $850,000 at the NHL level and a base salary of $175,000 in the minors, with a guarantee of $200,000. In year two, he’ll make $900,000 in the NHL, $250,000 in the minors with a $300,000 guarantee.
A native of Grand Forks, N.D., Caulfield scored 17 goals and added 21 assists for 38 points in 71 games with the AHL’s San Diego Gulls last season, all career highs as a professional. In 204 career AHL games, he has 38 goals and 51 assists for 89 points.
He spent four seasons playing college hockey at the University of North Dakota, where he scored 26 goals and 48 assists for 74 points in 123 career NCAA games.
