The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that they’ve signed forward Jack Studnicka and defenseman Cam Dineen to two-year, two-way contracts.
The cap hit of Studnicka’s contract is not confirmed, but with it being a two-way contract, it can be no lower than the league minimum salary of $850,000, and no higher than the entry-level contract maximum salary of $1.025 million. Other details about the contract, including any bonuses or AHL salary information, are also not confirmed.
Studnicka was an unrestricted free agent after the conclusion of his one-year contract at the league minimum salary of $775,000 with the Florida Panthers. Injuries on the Panthers got him some NHL action for the first time in two seasons, where he went pointless in 19 games. He also had 12 goals and 18 assists for 30 points in 41 games with the Panthers’ AHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.
