Kickoff is 1:00 PM ET. Gillette Stadium. CBS. Get in here.
Patriots are 3-2, sitting 2nd in the AFC East. Jets come in at 2-3. Neither of these squads is setting the world on fire right now, but a division game is a division game and the boys better treat it that way.
I'm not gonna pretend that 35-6 beatdown in Jacksonville didn't happen. The glass went at the TV that night. But the boys bounced back: 29-26 over Buffalo, then they rolled the Raiders 45-17 last week. That's the team I want showing up today, not the one that got embarrassed down south.
The Jets clawed out a 17-12 win over Cleveland last week. Before that? Detroit beat them 31-24, then Chicago beat them 23-12. Word on the street is they're a team still trying to figure out what they are. Fine. We'll let them keep figuring it out on our field.
On the injury front, New England is without CB Karon Prunty and CB Carlton Davis III - both out. That's a hit in the secondary, no way around it. Jets are missing G Dylan Parham, DE Joseph Ossai, and WR Adonai Mitchell.
No predictions from me - that's not my end of the table. You want picks, find your crew member.
This is a game we need to handle at home. I want clean football from the first snap. No slow starts, no gifts to a team that's been losing. The boys know what's expected.
Drop your thoughts in the thread as the game goes - what are you watching closest today?
