The Brewers swept the Dodgers to reach their first World Series since 1982, and injured right-hander Brandon Woodruff hopes to join the roster after missing nearly four months with shoulder inflammation. Woodruff, who last pitched July 4th, told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel it would be "hard to keep me off that roster," though he would likely be limited to low-leverage relief if cleared. The longest-tenured Brewer has not appeared in the playoffs since 2021 due to injuries.
