The 49ers have made a few roster moves in advance of their Week 1 matchup against the Rams.
The club announced that defensive lineman Alfred Collins has been placed on injured reserve.
This was an expected move after Collins suffered a torn patellar tendon during practice in Australia this week. He will be out for the 2026 season.
Additionally, the team has elevated receiver KhaDarel Hodge and defensive lineman Ogbo Okoronkwo for the game. It’s a proverbial revenge game for both Hodge and Okoronkwo, who both entered the league with the Rams in 2018.
