Brendan Sorsby's college career is finished after two years at Indiana and two years at Cincinnati. He will never play a down at Texas Tech.

Sorsby will dismiss the lawsuit in Lubbock County, Texas, that gave him a temporary injunction restoring his NCAA eligibility for 2026. Then, he will apply to enter the NFL supplemental draft.

Cody Campbell, Texas Tech's Board of Regents chairman, issued a statement as did President Lawrence Schovanec and Athletics Director Kirby Hocutt on behalf of the school. Sorsby now has issued his own statement on social media.

"I am grateful for the support from my family, my Tech coaching staff, teammates, the community and so many others who have encouraged me to address and learn more about this important issue," Sorsby wrote. "As my journey continues, I remain fully committed to and focused on being the best I can be both on and off the field."

The statement says nothing, leaving Sorsby with plenty of questions to answer.
