The 49ers have already revealed that defensive end Nick Bosa will be playing against the Rams on Thursday, which means the biggest question left about his return to action after last year's torn ACL is how much he'll be on the field.
Bosa has his eyes on a full workload. He said he "couldn't be happier with where I'm at" after ramping up at practice over the last week and feels well enough that he'd tell defensive line coach Kris Kocurek that he wants to play without any limitations.
"I haven't talked to Kris yet, but I'm going to hope for no reservations," Bosa said, via NBCSportsBayArea.com. "But we'll see what he says."
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said at his press conference that the team will have to "be smart" with both Bosa and tight end George Kittle in their return from long layoffs, so Bosa may not get exactly what he wants as the team welcomes him back to the lineup.
