When former Cowboys quarterback and CBS broadcaster Tony Romo was arrested for OWI in Wisconsin, he initially indicated an unwillingness to submit to breath testing.
Apparently, he changed his mind.
According to WTMJ in Milwaukee, court records show that Romo's blood-alcohol concentration was measured at 0.15 percent — nearly twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent.
The disclosure was made in connection with Romo's no-contest plea to operating while intoxicated. He'll pay $834 in fines, have his driver's license suspended for six months, attend and complete an alcohol assessment program, and install an ignition interlock device on his vehicle for at least one year after his license is reinstated.
Earlier today, Romo issued a statement announcing the plea, explaining that he has developed an "over-reliance" on alcohol, and expressing an intention to return to CBS.
