It's fitting that the new owners of the team known for the 12th man have a group of 12 limited partners.

Ben Fischer of Sports Business Journal has the full list.

They are, in order of highest percentage to lowest: former Sequoia Capital Managing Partner Mark Stevens; the Aramburuzabala family (descendants of the founder of Grupo Modelo; Val Blavatnik (son of DAZN owner Len Blavatnik); Sheryl Sokoloff (wife of Jonathan Sokoloff, co-managing partner of private equity firm Leonard Green & Partners); Gonzalo Hevia Baillères; Heavy Metal Equipment & Rentals CEO Jesse van der Werf, who is Canadian; Khosla Ventures managing director Samir Kaul; Apptio co-founder and CEO Sunny Gupta; Frazier Healthcare Partners managing partner Nader Naini; former U.S. secretary of commerce Penny Pritzker; Carlyle Dynasty Equity Group; and Sixth Street.

The percentages of the team owned by the various limited partners were not disclosed. By rule, the Khosla family was required to purchase 30 percent of the team, absent investors or debt.

At a purchase price of $9.612 billion, this means that the Khoslas were required to pay at least $2.88 billion. That leaves up to $6.7284 billion to be raised from limited partners.
