The Titans added five players to their roster on Monday, four of whom were previously reported. In addition to claiming linebacker Owen Pappoe, defensive back Melvin Smith and defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse and signing safety Terrell Burgess, the Titans also announced they signed offensive tackle James Hudson III.
They waived wide receiver Xavier Restrepo, offensive tackle Austin Deculus, safety Jerrick Reed II, cornerback Erick Hallett II and linebacker Mohamoud Diabate in corresponding moves.
Hudson, whom the Patriots released Sunday, has appeared in 60 career games, with 19 starts. He played for the Browns and Giants before joining the Patriots earlier this offseason.
Hudson was a fourth-round pick of the Browns in the 2021 draft, and he played in 49 games, with 17 starts, for the Browns from 2021-24.
The Titans are scheduled to return to the practice field on Tuesday at Vanderbilt Health Football Center.
