A week after retiring as a player, Will Grier is embarking on his next career, as a coach.
Grier is joining the Cowboys' staff as an offensive assistant, according to Todd Archer of ESPN.
The move is no surprise, as Grier had been considering an offer to join the Cowboys' coaching staff earlier this offseason, before deciding to sign with the Panthers.
The 31-year-old Grier was a third-round pick of the Panthers in 2019. In his playing career he has had two stints with the Panthers and two with the Cowboys, plus time with the Bengals, Chargers and Eagles.
