Oregon quarterback Dante Moore will miss the remainder of the 2026 season after suffering a concussion during a September 26 game against USC.
Moore was injured on an illegal hit while sliding during the contest. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for evaluation and has not received medical clearance to return.
Ducks coach Dan Lanning announced Monday that Moore is sidelined for the balance of the schedule. "If it was up to Dante in any shape, way, he would be out there playing for the guys," Lanning said.
Oregon entered the season ranked No. 2 nationally but has fallen to 4-3 and out of the top 25. Moore began the year as the top prospect for the 2027 draft.
Under NCAA five-year eligibility rules, Moore could return to college football in 2027. Doing so would delay his draft entry until 2028.
