UFC 333 takes place this Saturday with a featherweight title fight topping the card. Champion Alexander Volkanovski, 38, will defend against Movsar Evloev, who carries a perfect 10-0 record inside the UFC.
Evloev has built his unbeaten streak with victories over Lerone Murphy, Aljamain Sterling, Arnold Allen and Diego Lopes. The co-main event features a bantamweight trilogy between Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili, with championship gold and potential all-time recognition at stake. Dvalishvili won their 2023 three-round encounter, though Yan ended Dvalishvili's bantamweight championship run in December.
Other UFC notes include UFC 336 scheduled for Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on Jan. 30. Jasmine Jasudavicius is set to face Erin Blanchfield at UFC Edmonton. Joaquin Buckley reviewed his knockout loss to Mike Malott following UFC Edmonton. Dana White addressed the promotion's decision not to re-sign Farid Basharat.
