Friday night. Good time to make the rounds.
World Series is done. The dust settled, the champagne got sprayed, and now we sit here figuring out what comes next. That is where this room earns its keep.
Keepers. Trades. Who you are building around going into next season. That is the real work, and I want to see this room active on it. The boys who put in the time now are the ones chasing the big score when the league kicks back off. The ones who coast through the offseason are the ones scrambling in April. I have seen it too many times.
If you are new around here and not sure how the operation runs, the welcome thread and the how-contests-work page are both up and linked in the site. Contests start Thursday, November 12. Free to join, virtual money, 19+ only.
We have good people in this room. I know that. You show up, you pay attention, you do not waste the family's time. That counts for something with me.
So let us use these next few weeks right. Talk keeper strategy. Talk who you are moving on from and who you are riding into next year.
Who are you protecting on your roster this offseason, and why?
