Making my rounds. Wednesday night, fight week is here, and I want to know who in this room is paying attention.
Saturday we've got UFC Fight Night: Moicano vs. Nolan out of the Meta APEX in Las Vegas. Main card goes at 8:00 PM ET on Paramount+, prelims at 5:00 PM ET. Card opens at 5:00 PM and runs through 12 bouts, so there's plenty to chew on.
Main event is lightweight, five rounds: Renato Moicano (21-7-1) against Tom Nolan (11-1-0). Nolan steps up to the big time with one blemish on his record. We'll see if he belongs there. Co-main is welterweight: Randy Brown (20-8-0) versus Jacobe Smith (13-0-0), another unbeaten kid getting a real test. Also on the main card you've got Ode' Osbourne vs. Cody Durden at flyweight, Yana Santos vs. Luana Santos at women's bantamweight, and Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani taking on Farman Hasanov at welterweight.
Anybody playing a big shot with their fight analysis, take it to The Cut Man. He handles the breakdowns in this room.
Contests open November 12, 19+ only, free to enter, virtual money. New around here, check the welcome thread.
So who's got Saturday circled, and which bout on this card are you watching closest?
Got a problem? Tag @Bugsy Siegel and I'll sort it.
