The Braves are rehiring Perry Minasian as a senior advisor in amateur scouting, reuniting him with president Alex Anthopoulos. Minasian spent five and a half seasons as Angels GM before being fired in June, struggling with an organization that refused to rebuild. He follows Dana Brown, another former Atlanta executive returning after a GM stint elsewhere.
