The Twins announced that right-hander Jeff Hoffman underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow to remove a bone chip and clean the joint. He is expected to begin throwing in eight weeks and be ready for the start of the 2027 season. Hoffman, acquired from the Blue Jays at the 2026 trade deadline, posted a 2.50 ERA in 18 innings for Minnesota and is owed $7.25 million in the final year of his contract.
