The Indianapolis Colts are listening to trade offers for quarterback Daniel Jones ahead of Tuesday's 4 p.m. ET deadline, according to league sources.
Multiple teams have contacted the Colts about Jones, who is scheduled to start Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. The Baltimore Ravens inquired before acquiring Jacoby Brissett instead. The Minnesota Vikings have also been mentioned as a potential destination given Jones's history with the organization.
Indianapolis has preferred to wait until this week to consider any move. The franchise wants to acquire draft capital and reduce financial exposure. Jones carries a $10.51 million injury guarantee for 2027 that becomes fully guaranteed March 15 if he remains on the roster. If the 2-6 Colts fall out of playoff contention, they may bench Jones to avoid risking that guarantee. Jones could also waive the guarantee to facilitate a trade.
Coach Shane Steichen said this week that "Daniel gives us the best chance to win right now," though the qualifier left the door open for change.
