The Commanders moved wide receiver Terry McLaurin to injured reserve Wednesday, officially ending his season after he tore his patellar tendon in Week 6 against the 49ers. McLaurin will now focus on returning in 2027, while veteran Van Jefferson was signed from the practice squad to fill his roster spot. Defensive tackle Johnny Newton is also set to return to practice after tearing his pectoral this summer.
