The Giants are keeping Greg Newsome in blue for the long haul.
The cornerback, who joined the team on a one-year free agent deal this offseason, has agreed to a three-year extension worth $46 million, with $32 million guaranteed, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Newsome has made an early impact in his first season with the club, recording 25 tackles, one interception and six passes defensed through six games.
The 2021 first-round pick spent his first four seasons with the Browns before a 2025 trade sent him to the Jaguars. Across 77 regular season appearances, he has compiled 232 tackles, five interceptions and one sack. He has also appeared in postseason games for both Cleveland and Jacksonville.
The extension secures a key piece of the Giants secondary beyond the 2026 campaign.
