Lamar Jackson was not on the field for Wednesday's practice as the Ravens opened their preparation for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Jackson has now missed two consecutive games while recovering from an ankle injury. Head coach Jesse Minter said Monday that the quarterback could "potentially" return to practice this week, but remains day-to-day.
Minter is scheduled to address reporters following Wednesday's session. The Ravens will release their first injury report of the week later this afternoon, which should offer more clarity on Jackson's status heading into the AFC North matchup.
With Jackson sidelined, Baltimore has relied on backup Tyler Huntley. The Ravens will need to determine quickly whether their starter can progress enough to face Cincinnati.
Mickey's Angle: Keep an eye on Thursday and Friday practice reports—Jackson's availability will swing the line and fantasy decisions for this divisional clash.
