The Los Angeles Rams are dealing with a significant injury crisis following their 18-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
Wide receiver Davante Adams will miss six to 10 weeks after rupturing his semitendinosus hamstring late in Sunday's game, coach Sean McVay announced. Adams will undergo a procedure performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache and hopes to return near the front end of that timeline, possibly around the post-Week 11 bye.
The injury list extends well beyond Adams. Nose tackle Poona Ford is done for the season with a ruptured triceps. Defensive tackle Kobie Turner will miss "a handful of weeks" with a groin injury and will likely land on injured reserve, costing him at least four games. Kicker Blake Grupe tore an ACL and was placed on injured reserve Monday, with the team still evaluating replacement options.
Pass rusher Myles Garrett remains out after knee surgery in mid-September. Cornerback Trent McDuffie, who sat Sunday with a groin injury, is "progressing" and could return to practice this week.
Adams had 30 catches for 480 yards and four touchdowns in six games. The Rams may add a receiver while he recovers.
