Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor addressed trade speculation Thursday, confirming he has not asked to be moved.
Taylor acknowledged uncertainty surrounding his future but emphasized his commitment to the franchise. "I’m always proud to wear the horseshoe, proud to be here," he told reporters.
The comments come after Indianapolis traded two key players this week. Taylor compared his situation to teammates Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner, who were also proud Colts before being dealt.
Taylor stressed controlling what he can, focusing on preparing for Sunday's division matchup against Jacksonville. He noted the Jaguars are eager to capitalize on Indianapolis's current struggles.
The 2026 season has been productive for Taylor, who leads the league with eight rushing touchdowns. He has 587 rushing yards and 17 catches for 178 yards.
Taylor admitted trade rumors can distract but said professionals must focus on daily preparation and ignore outside noise.
Mickey's Angle: Taylor's staying professional, but with the Colts selling pieces, his fantasy managers should monitor snap counts closely—Indianapolis may be playing for draft capital down the stretch.
