Tuesday morning, waivers are open. Here are the names that jumped out of last week's box scores. Check if they're available in your league.
Puka Nacua, Rams – 24 targets, 17 catches, 138 yards and a TD Monday night. That target share is absurd. He's 7th in the NFL in receptions and heading to Las Vegas Week 7, which is a fine draw. Don't overthink it if he's sitting out there.
Matthew Golden, Packers – 13 targets, 104 yards, 1 TD Sunday. He's 6th in the NFL in receiving yards on the season at 501. The matchup at Detroit is tough but the total opened at 50.5 and moved to 53.5, so the game script should be fine.
Kenneth Walker III, Chiefs – 19 carries, 128 yards, 2 TDs. He leads the NFL in rushing yards (665) and yards per carry (6.3). I'm firing him up every week at this point.
Jonathan Taylor, Colts – 21 carries, 94 yards, 1 TD, and 4 targets in the receiving game. He's 2nd in the NFL in rushing attempts (122) and tied 2nd in rushing TDs (7). The spread at Minnesota moved from MIN -3 to MIN -6.5, so game script is a concern, but the volume is real.
Matthew Golden already got his second mention so let me drop in Malik Nabers, Giants – 15 targets, 12 catches, 165 yards. He's 5th in receptions and 7th in receiving yards on the season. Spot is rough at Houston (HOU -10 per DraftKings), he's a flex at best this week, but the target volume keeps him on the radar.
What's the one name from this list you're actually adding today?
