Sal's Waiver Wire Notes - Tuesday 10:00 AM ET
Waivers are processing or already done depending on your platform, so check your league right now. Here are the names that jumped out of Sunday's box scores.
Tony Pollard, Titans RB - 25 carries, 129 yards, 5.2 average, 3 TDs on Sunday. On the season he's 9th in rushing attempts (112) and 10th in rushing yards (478). The matchup is at Cincinnati, which is CIN -10 on DraftKings, so game script could be a problem, but that usage is real.
Trey McBride, Cardinals TE - 13 targets, 10 catches, 111 yards, 1 TD. He leads the NFL in receptions at 59 on the year. Going to Dallas (DAL -6, total 54.5), which opened at DAL -10.5 - that line has moved toward a game, which helps.
KC Concepcion, Browns WR - 10 targets, 8 catches, 129 yards on Sunday. Season totals are modest (315 receiving yards, 0 TDs), but 10 targets is a number you don't ignore. At Pittsburgh this week, total is 39.5, so ceiling is limited.
Tee Higgins, Bengals WR - 7 targets, 6 catches, 148 yards, 1 TD, 24.7 average. He's 8th in receiving yards (571) and 5th in yards per reception (17.3) on the year. Home vs Tennessee in Week 8, I'm firing him up if he's sitting in your league.
Zay Flowers, Ravens WR - 11 targets, 8 catches, 137 yards, 1 TD. He's 5th in the NFL in receiving yards (608) on the season. Heads to Buffalo (BUF -3.5, total 53.5) - that total opened at 51.5 and has climbed, which is good for volume.
Quick note on Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions WR - 11 targets, 9 catches, 153 yards Sunday, but he's listed Questionable with an ankle this week, so monitor that before you make a move.
Check availability in your league - who are you targeting off waivers this week?
