Start/Sit: QB & RB - Week 7
Wednesday evening check-in before Thursday night kicks things off. Let's run it.
STARTS
Drake Maye, Patriots QB - He's got 4th in NFL adjusted QBR at 77.3 and threw 3 TDs with zero picks last week. Total opened at 47.5, sitting at 50.5 now on DraftKings - market likes this game. I'm firing him up tonight.
C.J. Stroud, Texans QB - 2nd in NFL passing yards, 24/34 for 312 yards and 3 TDs last week against Jacksonville. The Giants game opened at 43.5 and is still 42.5 - not a shootout, but HOU -10.5 means this offense should be cooking. Start him.
Kenneth Walker III, Chiefs RB - 1st in NFL rushing yards and 1st in yards per rush attempt at 6.3. Went for 128 yards and 2 TDs last week on 19 carries. Just check the injury report before Sunday night.
Christian McCaffrey, 49ers RB - 10 targets, 9 catches, 2 rushing TDs last week. Tied-2nd in NFL rushing TDs at 7. SF/ATL total moved from 47.5 to 49.5, that's a good sign for CMC volume.
SITS/FADES
Jordan Love, Packers QB - Questionable with a back injury, that alone makes him a fade. Even if he plays, he took 3 sacks for -15 yards last week and is 18th in adjusted QBR. Don't overthink it, there are better options.
Daniel Jones, Colts QB - 31st in adjusted QBR at 38.2, threw 2 INTs and took 6 sacks last week. IND/MIN total dropped from 47.5 to 41.5 - not a great sign. He's a sit.
Jonathan Taylor, Colts RB - Love JT but that IND/MIN total cratering to 41.5 and MIN now -6.5 (opened -3) worries me for his ceiling. He's a flex at best this week.
Who else are you guys starting at RB this week?
