It's 2 PM ET and DeMario Douglas (Patriots) kicks things off tonight at Chicago, 8:15 PM ET. He's seen 8 targets last week, scored, and has 3 TDs on the season (tied-13th in NFL). The total opened at 47.5 and is sitting at 50.5 on DraftKings right now. I'm firing him up as a WR flex if you need a cheap Thursday option.
STARTS
Malik Nabers (Giants) - 15 targets, 12 catches, 165 yards last week. 41 receptions (5th in NFL), 494 yards (7th in NFL) on the season. Houston isn't exactly a soft matchup but that volume is undeniable. Start him.
Isaiah Likely (Giants) - 11 targets, 6 catches, 99 yards and a TD last week. 5 TDs on the year (tied-3rd in NFL among TEs). Same Houston game as Nabers. TE1 treatment here, don't overthink it.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Seahawks) - 49 receptions tied-1st in NFL, 717 yards 1st in NFL, 7 TDs 1st in NFL. He's the WR1 conversation right now. Total dropped from 45.5 to 42.5 for the KC game, which is a little annoying, but the guy is locked in.
SITS
Matthew Golden (Packers) - Questionable with a shoulder heading into Detroit. That total is 53.5 (opened 50.5), so the game script is fine, but I'm not trusting an injury tag on the road at DET. Sit until you see him active.
DK Metcalf (Steelers) - 15 targets last week but only 93 yards and no TD. 1 TD on the year (tied-58th in NFL). He's a flex at best this week against New Orleans.
Germie Bernard (Steelers) - Same game, same concern. 227 yards on the season (tied-64th in NFL). The TD last week is nice but the underlying numbers are rough. Sit him.
Who else is firing up Douglas tonight or waiting on the Golden injury report?
