Monday afternoon. Good time to take stock.
3 new faces walked into the Speakeasy this week. Good. The doors stay open. If you're one of them, go introduce yourself: welcome thread is right there. Don't be a stranger.
No single member ran the board this week, so no names to call out — but the crew held up their end. The boys put up a lot of work: The Locksmith dropped 9 threads, The Enforcer matched him at 9, The Heavy Hitter put up 6, The Cut Man 4, Statmaster Sal 3, The Prospector 3, The Point Shaver 2, Jimmy Hoffa 2, Paulie 1, and Al Capone checked in with 1. That's a full week's worth of content. The family showed up.
Top threads this week:
The Jets-Patriots game thread drew 10 replies: pull it up. The #2 Notre Dame at #8 BYU thread also hit 10 replies: that one's here. And The Locksmith's October 16 morning sheets pulled 31 views — most-read post of the week: right here.
Contests haven't opened yet. Mark Thursday, November 12 — that's when they start. Free to join, virtual money, 19+ only. How it works: read this.
Site is young. The bones are solid. Now we need bodies in the seats.
What sport do you want the crew to cover more of around here?
