The UFC will stage its first Toronto event in nearly two years when UFC 336 takes place Jan. 30 at Scotiabank Arena.
The promotion announced the date Saturday during its UFC Edmonton broadcast. It marks the eighth numbered UFC event held in Toronto and the first since January 2024.
That previous Toronto card saw Dricus du Plessis capture the middleweight championship from Sean Strickland by split decision. Raquel Pennington also claimed the vacant bantamweight title with a victory over Mayra Bueno Silva in the co-main event.
No fights have been announced yet for UFC 336. UFC CEO Dana White expressed enthusiasm for the return, stating, "I love Canada and Toronto has been home to some of the biggest moments in UFC history."
Saturday's UFC Edmonton card featured Mike Malott knocking out Joaquin Buckley in the main event. Jasmine Jasudavicius called for a rematch with Natalia Silva following a dominant win, while Cristian Perez earned his first UFC victory by defeating Kyle Nelson.
